I don't mean to make light of the crisis, but being in Western Montana I find it hard to be worried so far. I have responsibilities and bills to pay so I can't just shut down. I'm following the "media" accounts, and other links posted here. I checked last night. At least a months supply of TP. Unfortunately if we have to stay home and not poop on the company TP then that definitely gets reduced.

Now I’m not wearing a tin foil hat here. People should live their lives and go to work like normal. My point is that some of the arguments people are using irritate me because they are misrepresenting the situation.

mtmuleyI’d say if you don’t have at least a 2 week supply of 22 ammo you are living on the edge. 7-8 years ago you had to wait in line for 22 ammo while the tp rack was full. Awesome. The more the merrier.
But, seeing as how 3 labs are pastcresearchvand on to trials, and rumors of others in Israel and South Korea, perhaps they need more overtime?
I wouldn't think we would have this discussion as we watch the flaming failure of socialist or communist health care on full display. Or while in this country we hope our for profit hospitals will handle it.
But God bless tgem If the Army, Coast Card, or whoever comes up with a vaccine.
And bet your azz, be it for profit, or Military, the Chinese will rip it off in 5 seconds.
My hope is our memories on why and how this started, last longer than a sale at Walmart.
They are NOT good neighbors, good trade partners, or good at all.
When it's done, that country needs to pay a HEAVY PRICE.

I think we should all be taking this seriously and take reasonable precautions which is what most seem to be advocating here. I also just ate a trip to Italy.
Listened to the Rogan podcast today, with a guest who is by all accounts a qualified expert on the topic of ID epidemiology. He repeatedly harped on "overall healthy living practices" as one of the best defenses (barring an imminent vaccine). The guest specifically mentioned US propensity towards obesity as being a risk factor on par with the Chinese older-adult-male proliferation of smoking cigarettes. I hate to kick the subject of the link while he is down, but the 32 year-old in the linked article appears to qualify on the heavier side of the spectrum. Not trying to pass judgement on him, but to your point, we as Americans shouldn't dismiss this as a "them" problem based on "their" health tendencies. We as Americans have our own share of common health risks that could manifest in similar elevated rates of serious-to-deadly outcomes as seen in other less privileged parts of the world. As a father of a six month old trying to figure out parenting, wife and my parents in their late 60s, and both of us working in healthcare, we are discussing these topics daily, and trying to acknowledge and evaluate all points of debate and available evidence.

Its like this..... The media is controlled by democrats (Mostly Jewish Democrats but thats beside the point).
Take a look at any election year timetable. You will see that during every election year in the past 30 years there has been some type of scare being pushed by the media agenda.
Now, I AM NOT downplaying the Coronavirus. It is a serious virus.
HOWEVER, when the media pushes an agenda it is intentional.
So the BIG stock market players (I am talking the filthy rich with connection to all of the media outlets) have moved their money to safe accounts. Then the news comes out we are all going to die...and the stock market crashes.
Did they hold their funds in those safe accounts? Or did they re-invest heavily while the stock market is in the toilet.
It would be interesting VERY interesting to see who profits from this in the long run. Intentional? That is for you to decide.
Its not insider trading, but know this, people profit from panic. Especially when their buddy's over at ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSN, YAHOO News are pushing an agenda to drive the stock markets down.
TO me its American Fraud at it finest being manufactured for the profit of the elitists.
If you dont think that the news medias and the filthy rich are in ca-hoots I urge you to do some research for yourself.....

We are a nation of sheep being led by wolves on both sides of the isle. When the wolves get hungry, they eat. Yet we still allow them to lead/control because your average American isn't educated enough to understand what happening.
Cant beat em, join em? Ya right, if your a little guy in a big pond you're OUT. NOT in. So dont even try. The people who are weaponizing this disease and controlling the narratives are so filthy rich that you will never be allowed to be a part of any of it.

Dang, I knew there was plenty of snow up there but seeing it is something else. Hope our little cabin can hold it all, nobody around to clean any off of the roof! Brand new outhouse SHOULD hold up. Enough nails in that thing to hold ANYTHING together!
