Invasive Hippos

I have some hippo teeth. They are ivory, but of low quality. They are brittle and split like crazy even without dropping them. You can't really do much with them. Color is not great either.
I'm guessing you can't polish them down either? Nor bleach them?

Ok so... serious question. I'm no biologist.

If the hippos are causing that much ecological damage, what exactly is the downside to the "whack 'em and stack 'em"? I guess what I'm asking is... Even if the animals are sterilized, they'll still expire at some point, leaving an 8000lb carcass anyways, so...

Nevermind.....
Colombian Veterinarian's probably have alot of influence?

I read the title and thought it had something to do with my Sister in Law always stopping by our house.

I'm late to the party but I can't believe it took 36 posts before someone made an "invasive hippo" joke...

I've seen lots of hunter interest in invasive hippos, usually after the lights come on when the bar closes though...
