Turkey season in Montana is done for me. It lasted 3 hours.
Shortly after sun-up I spotted a group of 7 gobblers and 4 hens. I snuck to about 100 yards from them and sat down. After a few minutes I sounded like a hen who wanted a little action. A gobbler decided he wanted a little and came my way. At 20 yards, turkey #1 was on the ground.
2 hours later found me glassing 2 gobblers and 1 hen. Snuck in close and gave them some lonesome blues. 1 gobbler liked what he heard and came over to do a little dancing and boom. #2 was in the bag.
No kids along. Dont have any. I did have my dad with me who is in his 70's.
Until next year
