Idaho unit 18 elk

Well since idaho has pretty tough archery draws for elk I figured I would put in on unit 18. (Hells canyon) does anybody have any experience in this unit? Any ideas on where to go based off of the draw odds from last year I have a 1 in 3 chance of drawing the tag, but I also have two other friends that put in on it so theoretically one of us should draw it if the odds are close to last year! Not asking for gps coordinates of where the elk are if one of us draws it we plan on doing some scouting in July and augurs with how work schedules shake out. Any advice on where to start would be greatly appreciated thanks!
