I should start off by saying I have mostly read and lurked on this site, and haven't posted a whole lot. Lots of great info and I appreciate what this site offers.
That being said, I got a last minute invite to join Brother in Law on a elk hunt. He drew a quality rifle tag in Idaho, 46-1. He was out of the country for most of the past 5 months. I am leaning towards joining him, as I want to experience what a limited tag hunt is like. But on the other hand, I hate going into something blind, with little scouting, or preparation. He is pretty green when it comes to hunting, only gone deer and elk hunting a few times, and has harvested a couple deer.
Anyone ever been in that part of Idaho?
