McDonald got into trouble by letting people shoot big game out of season, he said. People would pay McDonald a fee to hunt during the regular season. When they didn't fill their tag, they would start pressuring McDonald for more hunting, Watson said. "He let it get started. And he's criminally liable for not stopping it. He could have really profited from illegal activity if that had been his intention. He acted foolishly.''

Poor guy was just a victim of all that pressure...it wasn't really his fault  :BLEEP:

Good post Troy, thanks!

wow, they got hit pretty good with fines.
......how does a judge have the authority to prohibit someone from " hunting anywhere in the world"

JB, I'm sure it's a provision of the probation. Get caught hunting...probation revoked.

"Anywhere in the world" sounds like terms of probation. If your on probation for drunk driving and a term of the probation is no drinking, that doesn't mean you can go out of state and its then ok to drink.

Might be tough to enforce?

That western states violator compact is pretty tough...F$@# up in one state and lose your privleges is 19 others! Poaching laws are finally starting to get some teeth.

What is even more amazing to me is it sounds like the guy had a good (legal) thing going simply charging $3500 to hunt. Sure messed that deal up!
