Figured this the appropriate place a first post. Pete from Massachusetts. I mostly bow hunt for deer. Have not had an opportunity to hunt outside of my State, other than Connecticut. 52 years young and working hard to retire in less than five years and move with my wife to Montana. While I do a bit of muzzleloader shooting and hunting, my desire is to get proficient with a 308. I already have the accessories to start reloading it (I currently reload a lot of pistol). I have my eyes on a Howa 1500 and Leupold Freeedom 3x9. Can't hunt with it here in Mass, but at least I can develop the perfect load, practice and be ready for when we get out of here
