Smaller project but it turned out cool.
My biggest hangup with the Henry centerfire levers is the ugly mag tube with the loading opening in it.
This rifle came in for a barrel chop and thread for suppressor use. We decided to go ahead and convert it to a traditional style tube mag instead of cutting down the Henry setup.
I cut the barrel dovetail at 3/8 60⁰ but this could be done on a factory dovetail too.
Since most Marlin parts are hen's teeth right now, I ended up making the tube, cap, and stud. I used a WWG follower and modified it as needed.

Nice work as always, Paul!!

Wait.....

A supressor on a lever gun???

That person will be in the same spot as me in the afterlife for putting a purple Boyds AT-One stock on a Mauser. :devilish:
I'm ok with it. I did have a fella contact me about cutting his early 1900's Marlin 1894 down into a Mare's Leg. I tried to buy it off of him to save it.

Any chance I could get some insight on making these parts or, since you said you’ve talked to someone about handling the production of these parts, could I purchase the kit? This is exactly what I’ve wanted to do to mine for years. Thanks.

I don't have all the measurements worked out for the kits yet. If you want to send your rifle I can do the conversion for you.

Can you DM me the info? I regret to admit I can’t figure out how to message on here. Lol

There's a minimum post count before you can use DM. It's either 10 or 15?
Well that would be the reason. I saw your post on here and made an account simply to reply to you lol are you comfortable sharing the cost of what you did hear? Im interested in the barrel chop and the conversion. Or if you feel comfortable, email or text?

Lol-thanks. I haven't seen anybody else doing the conversions.

Countrycustommetals.com I've got a "contact me" page on there.

Paul does great work. He said that a prospective customer asked him to do an older Marlin to a Mares leg which is almost heresy! He offered to buy it. They only made so many of them.
Henry Rifles are good and they have a definite spot in the lever action world but they definitely aren’t a Winchester or a Marlin lever action.
Accessorize the $#!t out of them!
