Some of these suggestions are common sense, but I thought worth sharing with this community anyway. I live in NJ and you all know the situation here. I'll be the first to admit that I dread going to the grocery store and risking bringing something back to my family.

 
Thanks for posting that. It may seem a bit extreme but my health and the health of those around me are worth it.
 
One thing I would do in grocery stores is wear gloves, do not accept plastic bags, ask for paper bags. Paper retains the virus for a very short time compared to plastic. I would wipe down everything that can be with disinfectant wipes. Somethings you have to grin and bear it hoping it don't give you something. I also maintain distance from other shoppers. As rude as shoppers are lately in stores, that is not always easy. They seem to be in a race to get things before someone else gets them.

I take it serious because both my wife and I are in the high risk group.
