I've been busy as hell, working and getting ready to build a house this summer. I finally decided that I needed some good medicine and headed up into the big mountains where the glaciers hang and the grizzlies roam... :D

I headed solo up into into the mountains to hike and camp for a few days. It was extreme spring weather... dumping buckets one minute and steaming hot sun the next. I covered some serious miles, crossing raging creeks and climbing up seriously steep valleys (blowing a tire and jamming the tranny in the quad in the process) to finally reach the glacial headwaters of some of my favourite valleys...

It was a lush mountain jungle with no shortage of game... moose, deer, mountain goat and a boone & crocket porquipine.... 6 nervous black bears (1 huge) and 2 grizzlies. The big country worked and I feel mucho better, ready to grind away again...

Here's a few pics of some good medicine... :)
