You just got to love it when you are expecting fish between 10"-12" out of a tiny creek, and one like this surprises you. While not a monster brown out of a river or lake, he was the king of his skinny water domain.

Wow, pretty fish! Although I don't like eating them I sure miss catching them. I like how they can be so differently colored, that's a beauty!

shoots-straight we have a lot of high water as well, but I found one small creek that usually doesn't get that bad. It's higher than it normally is, but still fish-able. I'm anxious for July when all the creeks and rivers are generally fish-able around here.
