Good day for me and the boy

Last weekend me and the boy went out on a buddies boat on Michigan. Landed 10 fish in an afternoon, got these 2 salmon on a double. The laker was a decent one too.
Hotter than heck, and the biting flies made me tape some legs of some spare cargo pants to my shorts but it kept me from getting bit. With this really hot weather the surface temp of the lake got up to 72F and that is pretty warm for 3 miles out!

Nice fish. I will be back in Michigan again in a few weeks and will be hitting the salmon bite again. Been a good year for sure. And for anyone that hasn't experienced the biting flies on Lake Michigan, don't underestimate how bad they are. They will leave your ankles bloody at the end of a good day on the water. They are pure evil.
