My Kenetreks have served me well but I haven't had any of the other brands mentioned.
Gaiters..what's good?

Another vote for OR Crocs and the Flex Fit Gaiters. I have worn OR Crocodiles for years on long alpine and ice climbs, and when the snow/sleet/rain/wet brush is an issue.
For the rest of the time, or if you prefer to wear a lighter weight trail shoe or boot and are looking to keep some moisture out but more so keeping out the grit, grass and burrs, go with the Flex Fit. They weigh next to nothing.
