Now that I have finished my tag soup from the last few weeks chasing whitetails I was finally able to get the dogs out and go after some birds. Got out of work early on Friday and shot this limit of Pheasants. First long hunt for the yellow lab, he is 7 months. I hope he turns out as good and the black one is.
Sat morning got to go watch my son in his first hockey game. Lot of fun. He has spent the last month practicing and finally got to play. 5 and 6 year olds are pretty amazing on the ice.
After the game son and I went out to try and kill a few mallards. I think had I been by myself I would have shot limits, but way more fun with the fidgitly little one along. All in all an awesome weekend.
