For all you Steel headers who like spey casting

Looks as if he knows what he's doing Richard, but I kept waiting for him to catch something. The type of rivers I grew up in were usually fully canopied by trees so anything longer than a 7' spinning rod or a cane pole/crappie rod was useless.

He does know what he is doing, in film and fly fishing, and is a really nice guy, 1 min 50secs and he performs the 'perry poke' a cast invented by you Americans.
And me, my go to rod for fishing my local river for trout is a 7 1/2' 4 weight, river is surrounded by fly grabbing tree's
