The other day I got invited to do some fishing at a pay trout stream in SWVA for "business development" purposes. Seemed like a great excuse to get out of the office for a day. It was fun and I got to fish with a few new folks, but the fishing was little slow and not really my style so I bowed out after lunch. I rode over to a nearby wild trout stream, but wasn't too impressed with what I saw, I faced the dilemma of heading back to work or finding another spot... Decided to make a run over to a warmwater stream that is fast becoming one of my favorites. Luckily the storms the horizon stayed there and I was happy that I made the run. Caught a bunch of fish and saw a coyote, geese, wood ducks, deer, and turkeys. Even though turkey season is still in, my love for standing in a river waving a stick trumped going for an armed hike, especially on an 85 degree day. :D

Nifty creek, looks like a whole lotta fun to me.I like water where you can catch multiple species of fish.

Wow! No warm water streams in Idaho to do that.
Question to Idaho guys in the SW. Has Paddock Res ever come back after they killed it off? A float tube and deer hair poppers in the reeds used to drive them nuts during spawning.
