Well it looks like work is sending me to Wichita Falls, TX for six weeks spanning from Jan-early Mar and I'm looking for things to do on my off time. Anyone familiar with the area or have any ideas they'd like to pitch? I know I'll be pretty limited on hunting opportunities during that time of year besides hogs, which I plan on doing, but what about the fishing? I have no problems driving either, I'll have every weekend off. I'll be all over Oklahoma as well visiting family and I do plan on hitting up Sooner Lake a few times. Any ideas for fishing, food, beer or hunting is welcome. Thanks.

Training at Sheppard AFB? Last time I was there a lot of lakes but you had to drive a bit. I do recommend a restaurant called Rafter Js!
I live in Denton down the road, waterfowl season runs until the end of January and there's some half decent public land around there for that. Once that's over the white bass and catfish really take off. PM me around then if you like to fish
