First Pronghorn Hunt in NM

My wife drew an antelope tag for Unit 18 this year and I and my cousin got to tag along for the hunt. Mind you this was my wife's first every hunt. While she did not bag a buck, she had a great time stalking the animals and shooting at them (she shot at a couple but missed). However, my cousin and I were able to bag a buck a piece. I wish the NM antelope hunt was a day longer so we could have found a lope for my wife to shoot and knock down. I guess we'll wait until next year in hopes of drawing a tag.
