Nice bones. I poked around yesterday and all my boys were still packing.

Saw some nice rams also, but nothing I will be hanging my 2013 sheep permit yet.

Saw a one antlered mule deer in Ennis today.

Do whitetails shed earlier that muleys?

So far I have found 42. The best start to year ever. Mostly dew to the lack of snow and old grass this year. Whitetails will shed a month sooner than mule deer. The earliest I have fond a whitetail is Dec 18, a mule deer is Jan 16.

I've seen both whitetail and mule deer drop shortly after Christmas in MT
