Few SD pics

I spent a couple weeks back in South Dakota to chase deer, shoot sheep and see family. No monster bucks were taken, but I had a great time once again.

Here are a few sheep that move into Rapid City this time of year.

Stop me if you have heard this one.

A sheep walks into a bar and says, "Give me a beer before problems start!"
Again, the sheep orders a beer again saying, "Give me a beer before problems start!"
The bartender looks confused. This goes on for a while, and after the fifth beer the bartender is totally confused and asks the sheep, "When are you going to pay for these beers?"
The sheep answers, "Ah, now the problems start!"

Once again..., stunning pictures. I really like the first with the contrasting colors and detail in both the rock and the ram. Damn nice buck in my book also.

So how would you rate the deer herds in that area compared to 5 years ago?

Tyson, the specific to the area I hunt, numbers are still down. Saw a couple bucks bigger than the one I shot, but nothing huge. There were a couple huge mule deer that were taken in the area, but can't mention the units.

Where's guNR? Always look forward to seeing him.

I guess he is the classy one on the team.

Awsome pictures love pics of sheep. IMO one of the most graceful and beautiful animals out there definatly on my bucket list. Love the photos you take. Also nice bucks would have loved to see some like that this year.
