I didn't need a new activity/hobby but it's relatively inexpensive and really pretty fun (for the whole family).

I don't participate, but I enjoy watching. The local range has a cowboy action club that holds 2 shoots per month. Some guys are extremely proficient, and some guys aren't so quick, but it's all for fun so it's always a great time.

I think it's 3 stations.
1. A few shots from a lever action
2. 3 shots from a single shot shotgun
3. 6 shots from the revolver.

@FI460 yes, that would be SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) which is also fun but with a little more to it than Fast Draw.
