its an amazing clip, always love watching it..old mate looks like he struggled a bit on the draw when the bull wheeled off.

Not with an Elk, but as a teenager I was sitting on a stump and had a Deer at 1 foot for several minutes. John
Last month my brother and I had bull elk tags when my brother shot his elk he hit him in the spine once we closed in he got up. I went to draw my pistol we were down hill from him and it was very steep, my brother shot him one more time from 10 yards. I started to to tell him get the hell out of the way he started rolling down hill right where we were, my brother looked at me and said "that was good thinking". I couldn't believe he wasn't thinking the same.
