This is in jest but....
It may be true. Fewer people are hunting than they did in days past. I remembered when everyone I knew had a rifle in the rack on the back window of their pickups or in the trunk of their cars. Many of us on the farms hunted on the way home from school or going to town.
Once we moved to the city, the gun racks disappeared.

Not around here. Never seen so many hunters in the field. I have seen more orange than brown this year. By far.

That’s the way it was here as well especially for whitetail we had more hunters out than I’ve seen before
