Elk hunting in Colorado GMU 68

Looking for anyone with some information on this unit. I have hunted 67 in the past, but not 68. Just looking for any information that may help two out of state hunters who have no chance to scout out the area. Anything is welcomed and I appreciate any direction or guidance at all on this one.

Thanks Genesis273. It's almost that time of year. I guess for some it is already that time, just not too sure of the area that I am going to be in. I am sure it will work out either way. We will find some elk.

I would call the cdow biologist in that region. They know where the elk are and will tell you. Years back I hunted co after moving to mt and with no time to scout I made the call . I told him the mountain I planned to hunt and he told me where the elk were. Filled my tag opening day.
