So heres the scenario: you've got a bull screaming his head of every 10 min down in a deep draw which gives you time to get within 100-150 yrds uphill to his side with wind in your favor. so what would be the best plan of attack.
Oh yeah my name is jay, I've followed the site for the past couple months but have been fairly quiet. i just got my antelope with a bow on saturday and while I have this unusual momentum so early in the season I feel this will be the year i get an elk with a bow. any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Again
j.

If he is screaming his head off because he has cows then get ahead of where you think he is going...given the wind and terrain will allow you....then wait for them to walk past. He will likely be last and when you go to draw don't get freaked out that the cows kind of scatter when they see your movement. Just keep focused on him and let him have it. It is almost impossible to get a bull away from his cows. Sometimes you can get his cows to come to you but it is tough.
There's my two cents.
