Just a hint of Fall cool in the air here this morning. Good day to be in the sunflower pasture with the shotgun. Have seen an abundance of dove this year.

Wish we could hunt them here.We had it almost passed but are then Democratic governor was influenced by out of state powers and stopped it from going through.Hope the sportsman can get united and get it passed some time.Kinda to late for me as I wanted it to mostly take my kids out and exposed to shooting and hunting.If you have the season I hope everybody takes advantage of it!

I am going to wait and take my son out for the first time with his shotgun on planted pheasant. I want him to be successful on his first trip - he can learn to deal with frustration once he has gotten used to the kick of a 20 ga versus the .22s and .223s he's used to shooting.
