Disabled Veteran Montana Cow Permit

Yesterday I donated a Game Range cow permit to the Helena office. They don’t get a lot of requests for donated cow permits but it should be a reasonably fillable tag if someone qualifies and is interested. First week of November on the Front.

The reason for surrendering it is nearly as bad as it gets but the thought of a DAV filling it was an easy choice. One of 25 as I recall. Certainly should see animals.
Next I need to find out if Colorado has a similar program. Still need to turn back a mule deer permit.

The true heroes are the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Nonetheless, you will definitely encourage and make the month of a Wounded Warrior or Handicapped Hunter. I have spoken with several program coordinators and they state that these donated tags and reintroduction to the outdoors has turned many a persons life around. Off the couch and into the mountains!
