Day trip to the ND badlands

A few of us made a day trip out to the badlands last Sunday to do a little shed hunting and just get out for the day. We put on just over 9 miles and found a few sheds and one really cool head with double crowns on one side. Also thinned out a couple fawn eating coyotes.

Looks like the skull has been there more than a season. Nice finds.

I have never been out there in spring shed hunting, but have picked up several while summer scouting or hunting.
