CO pronghorn GMU 87

Anyone out there hunt CO's GMU 87 for antelope? I've been looking at the different stats and I think this unit might represent a good option for me sometime in the near future (not 2013). The unit gives out quite a few tags as far as CO units go. Does it provide a quality experience for the tag holder or does it get pretty crowded on the Pawnee NG and other public landholdings?

87 and 88 are both good units with lots of public land to hunt. I hunt coyotes in both and see a lot of goats.I drew a buck rife tag this year for 87, took 6 PP. There is a fair amount of private land in both areas also but I have had good success getting permission to hunt these ranches .

Yes, several times with friends. The Unit has gone down hill big time since this post was created. I hunted the unit for years with archery, took kids with rifles etc, but put in for a new unit this year as 87 is a shell of what it once was. Sad situation up there.
