CO deer backdoor

My problem is that I have too darn much fun going back in there and plugging mediocre animals.

This is the year I hold out for a buck that excels in mediocrity.

gonna be archery hunting some monster whitetails maybe a mulie if he walks by out east in October! can't wait

I'll be stick&string for the 1st time. Going to be hunting 45 min from home on PP.

Hey Mudranger, you ever hunt John Martin?

nope farther east/south down near Springfield...but I have seen nice whitetails on every place Ive been down there

I've seen a few big whiteys along 50, but never really pushed out that way for deer. I'll be south of Denver and North of Colorado Springs this year. I'm happy about that.

mule deer? Ive seen some monsters hanging out on private property of course

Crappy 3rd season deer tag for me...:D Maybe WY will give me another crappy deer tag too...;)
Going to be a good fall!!!:hump:

Looks like I'm heading up to 12,000' in August to chase velvet clad mule deer again.......can't wait.

That is bad news for some mature buck. Good thing he spread his genes last November, 'cause he ain't gonna live to see another one. ;)

Thinking that is where my points will be spent next year. Now if I can only figure out how those other shows get filming permits in those alpine wilderness areas.
