My first lion was a female. My second was a huge tom almost as big as me. I've helped two friends get another female and another tom. My 5 year waiting period ends this year and I can't wait to start applying again. My friends hunt lions everyday during Christmas break. Once it's in your blood it's in your blood.

The only bummer about lion hunting is the cost of a full body mount. My tom from 5 years ago still sits in my taxidermists freezer tanned and ready to go. He won't let me do a rug. Someday I'll give him the go ahead.

This is one of the animals that my wife want life sized...so we will see! It was a blast..not the biggest cat in the woods at all...but way fun

The difference between a big cat and an average isn't noticeable on a mount. It's not readily apparent. Everyone should get at least one cat. There's no shortage of them right now. If everyone just waited on a giant cat, we wouldn't get much of a harvest.

Your cat and this one are about the same size. You should have yours mounted. I would have my last one done if I had the money.
