Figured I would post these up too, while I'm at it. Somehow I lucked out and my mother-in-law lives in trout central, Pennsylvania. So while my wife, her mom, and sister are out shopping or whatever, I get to fish... :D These are from last weekend.

Where abouts were you in PA? My wife is from north central PA (Tioga county) and I'm always bored back there, it would be nice to fish :(

We were in Centre County, in the Millheim/Coburn area. Lots of pretty cool spring creeks to explore there (and a nice brewpub in town).

Found these on Tioga.

Looks like plenty of wild trout there, I'm sure they're mostly freestone creeks, but I've never fished any of them. I looked at a job up there a few years ago, so I know that's the heart of Marcellus country...

Tioga county has the pine creek gorge run thru it.It Pa's grand canyon.Pretty sure you can find your share of trout in there.Or, you could shoot over to the susquehanna river, and catch plenty of smallmouth.Potter county, next to Tioga, has wild trout streams everywhere.Elk viewing area isn't too far from Tioga either

I would only fish the Special Regulation and Class A Wild Trout designated water. The Approved Trout Waters are probably just warm water fisheries stocked with trout during the cold weather months.
