Cut bacon into 1 in. pieces and cook in large skillet ( can use Jimmy Dean sausage instead or can use both sausages and bacon ( I like to use both). Cook bacon and/ or sausage until nearly done. Cube red potatoes, however many you think you'll need, add to skillet and cook on medium heat. Add one chopped onion, red and green bell pepper, if desired. Salt and pepper to taste. Fry until potatoes are nearly done and browned as desired. Pour in one can of beer ( I use coors light) using enough beer to cover potatoes. Then turn up the heat and continue cooking until beer cooks off . avoid stirring too much. If desired add one sliced apple to potato mixture just before potatoes are done. this will add a sweet taste. Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
