BIG Axis shot (rack picture)

Its from Bandera county, TX and would be #1 if in the current ROE book.
I scored it for that, but it was shot by R.Schott of Schott's Taxidermy.

Rough check it looks like it would be #1 in the 25 year SCI book and #2 in the 25 year Trophy Game Records of the World book.

Its a big axis without the non-typical points, but real big with them.

Wow, that is really big. And really cool. Do chicks in Texas think guys that shoot those are cool? 'Cuz when I saw the title about a Big Rack from Texas, this wasn't quite what I imagined.....

I think they do, but I don't know many chicks who care the size of antlers, they're more interested in a good fit, not just big. Is that how it works other places, chicks actually care about that? Are you studying that kind of thing?
