Is the $150 general hunting license refundable like NM if u dont draw the tag? I have a feeling from what I read that it's not...I want to build pts for a future Gould's Turkey hunt, but I dont like the $150/yr license thing. Thanks

That is the biggest issue that I have with Az applications. It is a real ripoff. The other thing that stinks is the fact that they charge the same for cow elk as they do for bull.

Still cheaper than getting points only for everything in WY...

If you're looking to build points for Gould's...it might be cheaper to just do that hunt in MX. I've got 12 points for turkey and God knows when I'll ever draw that tag. Might draw the strip tag before the turkey, got 16 points for deer. I live 60 miles from AZ so I don't mind buying the license every year.
