Another App question, party 2nd choice odds

Another app question, I can't find anything on this. Does being in a party effect your odds of drawing? As in let's say 70 percent of 2nd choice applicants draw a tag for a particular unit, do they distribute tags to individuals before going to the party apps? Especially if it's a relatively small number of tags available?

I'm no expert but from what I understand it shouldn't affect your draw odds. Instead of you and your partner each being assigned a individual number for the draw you'll both be assigned the same number that will be put in the same draw as everyone else. They don't do separate draws for party or individual apps. That's my understanding at least I hope I'm right as my group sent in our apps yesterday evening.

Sounds right WildWill. If a party pushes the area over quota everyone still gets their tag.
