First time ever. Went hunting and left my gun behind. I had emptied the car to clean it and just forgot to pick the gun up. Oh well, had a nice hike following Steve around.
Saw some nice country

Had time to look at some old machinery and wonder what it was doing out here in the desert

With the price of scrap metal that old machinery is worth a pretty penny in todays markets.

Don't feel alone. One day I drove up the mountain for a chukar hunt,took a 12 gauge and a vest full of 20 gauge shells. Love those dogs.

Been there, done that. A couple years back I took my son deer hunting, got to our location - no rifle! After I got on my son about not bringing his rifle he reminded me that back at the house I said I had the rifle in the truck. We didn't try the 'air rifle,' I'm sure we would have seen the big guy, and I was frustrated enough. Thanks for sharing the pics.
