7mm-08 load data

I want to reload for my wife's rifle and have the following powders:

IMR 4350
RL-19
IMR 4064

I have a box of Barnes TTSX 120 gr bullets. I can't seem to find very many loads using any of these powders. I am not against getting other bullets, which I would be looking at 140 Nosler Accubonds and or 139 gr Hornadys. If there are others, I would like some suggestions.

She will be shooting mule deer, elk, whitetail deer, antelope for game. Thanks for the help.

I shoot a Remmy model 7 shortened to 18" and suppressed, I use 130 Speers behind a full load of ADI 2206H (IMR4895) 1/2 inch groups. It's sighted in 2 inches high at 100 yds and hits 3 " low at 300.

I used IMR4350 and 139gn SST's last year with my daughters rifle and it dialed in pretty good. I'd probably gear yourself more towards the 140gn Accubonds, and 139gn Interbonds or SST's if your throwing elk into the mix.

3 shots @ 100 yards.

I loaded up Barnes 140 tsx's, fed primers, and 49grs of h4350, then launched it out of a kimber 84. Grouped great with some tweaking, buddy was running a similar load from his. We both killed 350 bulls last year with these loads. Problem, at 200 yards i wacked him twice. Recovered a bullet from opposite shoulder with no expansion. Dead was dead though.

Here are several loads I tried last year in my wifes 7-08.

I used Winchester brass, 250 cci mag primers and 140 grain ballistic tips...all of these groups were shot without any changes to zero.

They all shot pretty well, and if forced to, could probably slum any of them. Ended up sticking with the 43.0 grains of varget and the 140 accubonds.

Thanks for all the replies. I will look into getting bigger grain bullets for it as well. Looks like you all have some great groups.

I will try some loads for the current bullet and post results. Looking forward to building confidence in my wife with this caliber. I hope reloading will help a little in her seeing better grouping.
