Has anyone here ever used the 32 degrees thermal underwear? For $15 I'm skeptical on how warm they could be.

I think I have a couple of them, both are light weight I think? I've taken them on a couple 7-10 day trips as my only thermal top. It worked fine, actually as I recall I really liked it for weight/warmth comfort. As it was too cold for a T-shirt, but too warm for a jacket. The shirt was a good in-between layer. I just didn't like the cut/fit so don't wear it much anymore. I have probably 10 different thermal tops, can't tell the difference between any of them to be honest other than some are thicker/warmer. For $15 you aren't out much.

I have a bunch of synthetic base layers like 32 degrees... they work great for skiing, ice fishing, day hikes, ect. BUT they do stink at the end of the day and I would not wear them for multiple days without washing them. I would guess that these would be a decent base layer but I wouldn't take them on a backpack hunt, for that go merino wool.
