These all bears either I or my buddy and I have treed this year since opening day 2015. The first two bears are the same bear in two different trees. He jumped few minutes after treeing and then again after we got to the second tree but He Treed in the bottom. Kevin passed on him since he was,it huge and it was only like two hours into season. Good choice because the fourth day of our hunt we Treed the next bear in the pictures, which is a beautiful big bear. Hes black which makes him a trophy in nv because they account for only 5 percent of the population. And his head is going to score great.

This bear we had a mixed pack. Lynn rigged it and we dumped the boxes and had him treed within a half hour. Like 13 Dogs and 15 people. Family and friends all made it from a pregnant wife, to a 6 year old. Nice bear and great archery shot.

Reggie struck this bear I think and again we dumped them all when lined out. They jumped it quick and it out on a great race. Crossed the road, side hilles then over a mt that took us an hour to get around. Dogs held the bear good. While looking at it making decisions, it decided to try and jump on top of me. He dogs got right on its butt and Treed again in the bottom. My friends daughter named it super bear. So that's what I've been calling it. The Hunter passed.

This was a sow and cub we Treed in the rain. We got a strike but couldn't move it. Me and buddy made a big half circle with some dogs to get when to branch out to hope and find the track because the wind was blowing. Been walking for about five minutes and we heard Reggie open up way below so we sicked other dogs to him. He cold trailed ways and about when the dogs got to him the race starting sounded real good. Not a bad walk in considering the rain.

An hour after calling it a day after the sow and cub we had two boxes blow up and the Hunter wanted to try it due to limited time. We turned loose and had few dogs take it backwards but we got him jumped and listened to another good race to tree. It was a little boar we let go grow and run again. It was the first time my fiancé got to come over to nevada with me so to have the double bear day with her was pretty special hunt. Video of release

This was my pack only today and it started off great. Big rig, turned in reggie and Lynn they started moving it so I turned in bj and Sampson they trailed it for about fifteen minutes before jumping him and running him to the top of me to the east, back down it across the road then up and over a mt to the west and the dogs treed him. We had to drive around quite a ways and walked in from .89 miles. He jumped soon as. We got there and four more, times before the Hunter decided he was going to pass. They treed him a sixth time about 1.5 miles away. It was .9 miles to the truck so,i decided I would walk to the dogs and then up and over a mile to the road we turned loose on. I got to them and leashed up right as he jumped again. He tore up my female and shes for about two weeks. We got to the road and took a nap until my father In law brought the truck around. Got to the vet and stitched up Lynn. Beautiful bear, i would of taken it especially after seeing Lynn being chewed up.

Video of him jumping outta one tree

Awesome. Nothing like hunting bears with a good pack of dogs.

Utah bears?

Yesterday we ran a monster that had no intention of climbing. I saw him at 300 yards and he was a trophy. Jet black and 400 plus. He just walked and fought until In only had one dog baying him into no man's land at dark so I had to call him off. Over 15 miles he went and the dogs felt every step of it.

No Nevada. I drive over from California and take guys out who draw tags so I can do something other than run coons.

Way cool! A bear hunt behind hounds is near the top of my list of hunts I want to do. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! That looks pretty exciting. Those dogs are tenacious!
