    "E-Scouting" for antelope

Thanks a bunch, I have been able to get a better idea of what I am looking for. And have some ideas of zones to apply for. Now just to confirm that I have enough vacation from work...

    "E-Scouting" for antelope

Appreciate the help. No issues with the idea of walking. Just trying to get an idea of the type of topography I should be looking at. I figured on too hilly isn't good but not sure what "too hilly" actually is. That along with what appears to be difficulties in getting to some spots...

    "E-Scouting" for antelope

I am trying to do some research to do a DIY public land antelope hunt in 2019. I have been looking at WY for the hunt. Most of the units that I would be able to draw a tag this year seem to have limited public land. This is ok but in looking at the details on the WY GF hunt planner, they seem...

Michigan hunting in major decline — why that matters

I think that it is harder to get really outdoors in some parts of Michigan which I think is playing into it. I think that we need to do more to get new adult hunters. Possibly leveraging the knowing where your food comes from part of it. Though I do think that it is tricky for people to get...

Michigan hunting in major decline — why that matters

I can't remember where I saw it. But WI, MI, and, PA all had license sales decrease but CO, WY, and, MT are not changing. For those of us east of the Mississippi, we are likely going to see decreases in conservation dollars from license sales very soon.

    CO First Rifle Cow Hunt

Did our first western hunt over CO's first rifle season. Had a great adventure and managed to punch our tag on the last day with a nice cow. The whole trip was DIY and got a lot of good advice from the forum as well as from Big Fin's videos and other content. The experience was great and am...

    Bourbon

I like this stuff. I did not know about the donation to the American Prairie Reserve. I think that I have a new regular whiskey that I am getting!

    How to Call a Congressman

Treat it like calling business for information about a product. The person on the other side will be an aide so be polite (they are just doing their job). It actually gets easier as you do it.

    MI First Tom

Got my first spring turkey. Had an exciting start of the season with 3 toms strutting well out of range with I am not sure how many hens. Gobbling regularly for about an hour when like smoke they just vanished. I thought that I had got busted. An hour later, I hear a gobble off to my right...

    First Time CO Elk hunt

Thanks alot. I have been checking out areas on on-x maps, and using the numbers from CPW. We are looking at multiple locations so should be able to avoid some of the crowds. Just trying to get a handle on what we should expect. Again thanks very much for the info!

Thanks, not looking to be completely alone. But didn't want to have people right on top of us.
