how do you hunt fall turkey?
I've never hunted fall turkey before. I know they're not going to be interested in mating and they might not be very vocal and respond to any calls. How should I approach fall turkey hunting?- aman

How do I scout for Turkey habitat?
I am in Seattle area and I'd like to try Turkey hunting for the first time this spring. I'm not even sure how to get started to find turkeys in the woods. How do I narrow down public land into manageable chunks that may contain turkeys? Is it possible to do this using Google Earth?- aman

270 ammo is getting expensive. should i buy a 22 LR?
Cost per range session is getting pretty expensive with my 270 Win T3x. I don't think I can set up equipment for reloading in my apartment. Should I invest in a 22 LR? The rifle + rings + scope would be a decent investment but I would probably go to the range much more often. Would the skills... -

What are some decent mid-tier and top-tier Vortex rifle scopes?
I am a new hunter in state of WA. I just bought a Tikka T3x 270 Win and I'd like to attach a nice rifle scope to it. I am very confused with all the options offered. I've read that a 4x16 magnification would be the best. What are some mid-tier and top tier Vortex scopes I should look at?
