I'm selling a Hawk saddle setup. Comes with 3 climbing sticks and a platform. I bought it in July and used it once in TN in August. I didn't use it like I thought I would and I'm moving to AK and have no use for it there. $350, I'm willing to ship.
Theodore Roosevelt killed a a hippo with a 30-06. Jack O'Connor dropped moose with 270s. If allowed by the outfitter it should be plenty with right placement.
I have a cheap kayak that I use. I painted it green, then took some camo netting and fit it around the kayak and stick some brush from wherever I'm hunting in it. Do not shoot birds straight up...;) learned that the hard way. I've never used one, but I think a canoe would be great for two people...
I've shot wet phone books numerous times with a TSX and TTSX out of a 7mm rem. mag. for testing. Every single one came out as the best looking mushrooms
Yes, but not in the way that is typical now. I have no interest in sitting over a impala hanging in a tree. I would want to do a stalk hunt. Add the element of danger that is not there as much when you sit in a blind.
Bears, without a doubt I would hunt them. I want to hunt every animal that is...
I've had Hogue problems. Had 2 of them crack right where the bedding ended on them. It took me 6 months to figure out why my shooting was terrible then i felt a slight bend one day in the stock. Sure enough, it was cracked. Hogue customer service refused to admit that it could have happened to...
Wyoming mud is terrible. Don't underestimate it. I did thinking it couldn't be worse than slick, wet red clay, but it's slicker somehow and sticks to every little thing you will have on you.
Go to central Ga before North ga. The bucks are bigger and there is a higher population density. Avoid South Georgia. Prices on hunting down there are sky high because of the Floridians.
I wish there was a like button. I'm sure the same people calling for the killing of the goats also say that hunting is not a valid form of conservation
So they want to kill off all the mt goats that don't even inhabit the same section of mountains, but take ages to do anything about domestic sheep sharing the same land across the states??
