    Vest is a much more personal choice. I have a wingworks that I love for full days carry lots of water and shells/birds. For lightweight, filson and orvis make great options and it seems like there are new companies everyday.

    I have used two garmin products, the barklimiter and the PT10, the limiter has more options but the PT10 hits a little harder and works better for my stubborn one. The PT10 is designed to be paired with a non GPS garmin device but can be used solo without the handheld as a bark collar.

    yep this is good advice. I use a pinch collar on my more aggressive pulling dog, just stopping is correction enough for the normal one.

    Yep, wasn't sure how to handle the sheaths. I knew they would fall apart but wasn't sure what to do so I just stuck them in the freezer. Just fill them with powdered borax and set somewhere cool/dry/sunless? thanks for the help

    Help me pick a tent

    I use an REI brand backpacking weight tent for your same description. It served me well in the Utah desert heat and zero degree Montana snow. Don't stress the finer points unless you want a stove. It has worked well in the plains for me, only falling down in OK, when winds exceeded 50 mph.
