    Conceal Carry Compression Shorts?

One of the reasons I don’t carry is that I don’t wear belt loops. My attire is 90% gym shorts and the sticky holster I have always feels like it’s going to fall out. I recently saw that there are brands that make compression shorts/boxers with a built in slot made of elastic. I was wondering if...

    40 or 50 mm scope?

I’ve got a big head too so that makes me feel better. What about it making contact with the barrel? Is there a chance I have to get a special mounting system to bring it up?

    40 or 50 mm scope?

I’ve read that 50mm scopes may be too big for some rifles and have to be elevated to avoid contact with the barrel, created an awkward eye angle. Is there truth to this or is that overstated? I have a bergara wilderness ridge (which I believe is the same frame as the remington 700). Will I be...

    Suppressor Ready Rifle?

What’s the criticism of them? I really like the look of the wilderness

    Suppressor Ready Rifle?

Those are very good looking rifles, I’ll give them serious consideration. I’m guessing those installed muzzle brakes come off to reveal the threads? Thank you!

    Suppressor Ready Rifle?

The ones I’m seeing aren’t threaded though except the sporter, even if I could afford the extra $300. Or am i looking in the wrong place

    Suppressor Ready Rifle?

I’m looking for a hunting rifle that has a threaded barrel. I realize I can have a barrel threaded, but I’m limiting my search to those that are already suppressor ready. My conditions: under $1,000 , 16-20” threaded barrel (5/8x24), 308 WIN Already found: remington 700 SPS tactical, ruger...

    Doe Milk

Accidentally cut into my doe’s mammary glands and spilled milk all over the back quarters. Anyone know with certainty that this is either safe or dangerous? I can’t imagine milk carrying pathogens, but I’m no wildlife biologist.

    Wyoming HMA Rules

There are sections of BLM land within the boundary of my Wyoming HMA. Can I access these sections as if they were any other BLM/public lands? Meaning, I can scout/camp and don’t have to wait for the start season? This is assuming I accessed them from public roads.

    Glock 44 .22LR ammo

I just got a Glock 44 and wondering if pistol .22’s use the same ammo as .22 rifles. I have cases of CCI Copper 21 grains for my rifle and it would be nice to just use those up. Will it cycle safely? Thanks!

    Best hunting sidearm?

That’s a really good point I didn’t consider. I hate taking my rifle back in for my subsequent pack out trips. Would save a lot of frustration during elk rifle season.

    Best hunting sidearm?

This is the kinda idea I needed! So a .410 buckshot is okay for small game? You’re talking to a caliber ignoramous over here.

    Best hunting sidearm?

Bc I sleep in my truck a lot, theft is a real concern. I won’t be using bear mace in such a scenario. Nor will I be eating a mace soaked Jack rabbit, as much as I like spicy food.

    Best hunting sidearm?

That’s what I was worried about. I was hoping there was a caliber that could both protect/deter and have subsonic round options for the occasional rabbit dinner. As I’ve only had one run in with a cougar but several with coyotes, that was more what I’m looking to protect myself from during bow...

    Best hunting sidearm?

Bear mace for the bears. Pistol for everything else— crazies, coyotes, cougars, small game. Is a .22 pistol versatile enough to be both good for small game and protection? If im bow hunting or sleeping in my truck, using a long rifle for protection or discharging the mace from inside my car is...

Moving in a year. Reno vs Colorado Springs vs Denver suburbs

One thing to consider is the elevation. Colorado can be a hard place to retire if there's any medical concerns.

    Best hunting sidearm?

I do carry bear mace... but depending on where I'm going and if I'm camping, I like to have a pistol too for general protection outside of bears— crazies, coyotes, etc. My glock 19 is a bit too heavy for my taste for hiking with my gear. I've considered the glock 26 which is the smaller 9mm...

    How often change string/d-loop?

I’ve seen this and way worse. Lots can happen when any kind of projectile goes off when you’re not expecting it. Thanks for contributing to the thread
