So I bought a dozen spartan black eagle arrows and I’m fletching them with the Bohning jig not sure the model with a 3* helix and the front right is driving me nuts! The right 1/4 inch is making me batty! Anyone have a different jig or have a adhesive recommendation?
I am flirting with going to Montana for elk/deer. There is the $1000 combi tag but I can't find it in the regulations what the details of this are. Is this like having a either sex tag where it is good for one animal but it can be a deer or an elk or is this good for one deer and one elk?
Thanks
Auto text is so lame! I’m pretty sure it hates hunters! I knocked off my first vane and just reflected it but it looks like the arrow may have been a strait vane.
I knocked off my first cane and it’s a pain to go to the archery shop to repair it so I bought a fletch jig and it is the 3 degree eh helix. It looks like my babes on the black eagle outlaw aren’t strait but it also doesn’t seem like they are strait either. What is best for accuracy?
I have a MR Metcalf used one day this season due to work not allowing me to go elk hunting and only got out one day for deer. It’s Coyote color and I want to swap to a different pattern so I’m selling this one. MSRP $530 pack used one day $450.

I would love to bounce some stuff of anyone that has hunted 12/24 in first rifle. I was picking apart the unroaded area in 24 but then looking at statistics 12 is better and not far from where i was looking and on the other side of the flat tops that i have hunted in the past.
Im a wildland firefighter and i wear MR on the fire line they are worth their weight in gold! I just bought the metcalf because of how well the fire line pack preforms! MR has it going on!
I carry 15x50 binos and a coupme years ago i pretty much shit the bed because i glassed a single elk but could confirm antlers or not and i wish i had a spotter to know then i woukd have put it to bed and got after it in the morning. Another group may have had a legal bull in it but not sire and...
So I have been talking to different friends trying to fuel some interest in big game hunting and wanting to get a good group of guys going and I have heard a few say the quote "let's go kill shit." When I hear this I feel withdrawn immediately. I am analyzing my feeling toward this and I can't...
