Today’s check while pulling the line. Headed to setup a small “lake” that has been having issues over the weekend. Ice isn’t even fully off this lake yet so that will make things Intersting. Few more days and I’m done. Getting sick of skinning lol- Sask hunter

2023/2024 Trapping Thread
Two day check resulted in 11 beavers. They are starting to shed now. Will pull traps tomorrow and Friday. Then move into one last spot for a few days where people asked me to trap and I’ll be done for the spring. The ice is just coming off at that spot so fur should be alright still- Sask hunter

Spring snows
Birds didn’t like something but we managed a few and honestly should have had 15-20 but I shot like crap. We don’t get many snows in this area so this is the first time I have targeted snows in about 8 years also my first time hunting spring snows with decoys- Sask hunter
