I was a pilot, but we got into a pretty serious firefight on Camp Bastion Sept 14-15 2012. I lost my Benchmade auto while trying to jump over some concertina wire (when you're wearing body armor you don't have quite the "ups" that you have otherwise), but I got tangled up. I got all ripped up...
Bump. In a pretty good bind this summer. I'd rather this go to a Hunt Talker than some flipper. Willing to negotiate / barter. Just need to turn it into something my family and I can use this summer.
Been back in school full time for the last 2 years and applying to dental school this summer. Need to cash some guns in.

Of course they laid them out in the open so the news chopper could get a real good look at them...I'm so glad I'm no longer in CA. I miss the weather, that's about it.
I went out this morning to my listening post on public land to try to locate some turkeys. I didn't hear any, but I did find this 6pt whitetail deadhead. Unfortunately, it looks to have been there for quite a while and the squirrels had ravaged it. Still a cool find though and was good to put...
All wise suggestions my friends! Money is pretty tight, but I've got a few ideas - mainly fishing related. Turkey season opens here on the 16th, so I'm sure I can keep myself busy prepping for that.
Listen and follow your restrictions EXACTLY. I had a biceps tenodesis in addition to some work on my acromioclavicular joint and I accidentally bumped my arm into my desk about 2 weeks after surgery and ripped the long head bicep tendon out of the anchor. I opted not to have it put back, as...
I remember as a kid seeing signs for "free water" at Wall Drug for 100s of miles. I definitely have great memories as a young boy of Wall Drug, Rushmore, the badlands, Cody, Jackson, and Raton Pass. Nothing like a trip out west to stoke the fire in a boy.
Looks like a good specimen and fine eating. Thanks for taking the time to write up your experiences. I was supposed to be in WY chasing Pronghorn, but I couldn't get free of school, ugh...So, I live vicariously through everyone's stories.
Didn't see anybody mention this, but if you uniformed the primer pockets and got a little carried away it's possible to seat the primers too deep. Learned this the hard way on my first doe antelope. Luckily, after waiting a minute, I was able to @#)(# the bold handle and she fired on the second...
Still got mine, sitting next to my original set of wings. Also carried an extra set taped together in my flight suit shoulder pocket. Dogtags are required equipment for check rides and you never knew when you'd get some a$$hat that would try to down you because you forgot them.
