Long Trip Trailer Options - 6x12 Single Semi-Round Nose vs. 7x16 Tandem V Nose
Like said i would stick with the tandem axle. Also said before make sure you bring good tools for possible repairs. Rather have them in the way moving them around then not having the right stuff if needed. Good luck and have a safe trip.- Yotkilr

Awesome thanks everyone for the advice! We are excited to get out and try something we haven't hunted before. Never thought about it being early for them may not have great mounts if we want one. Good news on that my dad is a taxidermist so won't cost us anything to try one and see how it goes...- Yotkilr

A buddy and I will be heading west of Fort Peck, MT north side of the lake to see if we cant each get a sage grouse. We will be going the weekend of the 8th. Tires breaking down from muddy roads?
How many years old are the tires and does your truck sit outside in the sun? That's my guess is just age and sun eating them up if you don't put many miles on in a year on that truck.- Yotkilr

Looking at getting a new all around hunting rifle that can also be capable of some long range target shooting. Right now anyway leaning towards Browning Hell's Canyon or a Christensen Arms Mesa. Pretty much agree with everyone if you can afford the Honda that is the way to go wont be disappointed. I have a 3000 watt little heavy but can get in and out of truck myself. very quite on eco mode even at full throttle much quieter then other brands i have had in the past. we run it all night...- Yotkilr
