The youth permits are only $6 for non-residents and $91 for regular non-resident turkey plus $15 or $16 for a habitat stamp for those sixteen and older. So if you have kids just buy them permits and let them shoot all the turkeys. I did that with my son last fall, had some already in the freezer...

Would a Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag with a 24 inch barrel, which has harvested a number of turkeys, or a Mossberg 500 with a 20 inch barrel be better for close range coyotes? The 835 can handle 3.5 inch shells whereas the 500 can not.
